Just picked up a pizza that is phenomenal. The sauce is not too salty or sweet, so that's a plus for me. Crispy crust won my heart and the cheese won my tastebuds. Kudos!

I've been in this area for about 30 years now and seeing this place change from Red Star, to Red Star 2, it's a red star 3 as it is now. I've had their pizza during the red star original and 3 (now), nothing I can remember about 2. I'm not sure if it was an ownership change but I can tell you that they're barbecue chicken pizza has changed. It used to be a lot more chunky and uneven and now it is phenomenal. It was good before, but it's perfectly spread out and delicious now. Every time I get it I eat multiple slices and it's always meant by a kind person behind the counter. Their service is very attentive and I'm giving it 5 stars for their pizza, but I did try their wings once and they were not good. Basic fried wings with breading but the type you would buy in the frozen freezer section. Didn't taste quality. I've worked at a few pizza places throughout my days as a delivery driver and have had all different types of wings and food. Like I said, the pizza here absolutely slaps without a doubt, but I can't attest for the rest of the menu. For what I get it's a five-star review and I'll update it if that changes. The reason I gave it four stars for atmosphere is because it's very small and it's really just good for sitting down to have a quick slice but not really for privacy and conversation like that. Everything is very close together and there's only a few tables but they make good of what they have there.

This place has become a tradition to go to with my boys. They love the pizza because it's top tier, it's fairly priced, so I love it too! And the people there are so kind and gentle. They make everyone feel at home. This is a must go for good pizza, good people and good atmosphere!
I say, the BEST pizza in NJ. I have eaten pizza all over NJ & the world and love their crust! The toppings are fresh & delicious along with their cheese…I have to use this place for my pizza reviews because they are hard to beat on their slice. Jim “the Slice” gives it a 5 & loved they were open late on a Friday night! Also the pricing and soda fountain are great..There are numerous daily specials. The people who cook & prepare the food I feel take pride in their work…
